Grand Canyon Pools & Spas was founded on two basic principles. The first principle is that the customer always comes first, from the start of the pool all the way through the warranty period. The second principle is “treat others as you would want to be treated”. These basic principles are carried throughout all areas of the organization, whether “others” refers to customers, vendors and/or employees.

The company is owned and operated by two industry veterans, Jerry Smith and Mike Shriver. Jerry has been in the Arizona swimming pool industry since 2001.  Prior to moving to Arizona, Jerry owned and operated a general contracting business in the Seattle area for 16 years. Mike has been in the pool industry since 1989. Both owners have worked for large local swimming pool contractors in their past and have gained considerable knowledge and expertise in all facets of the business.

We have teamed up with some of the finest contractors in the state to ensure that the total backyard environment compliments the lifestyles of our customers. By the combination of specific design techniques and engineering fundamentals, we provide our discriminating clients with outdoor environments that satisfy the most indulgent inclinations. Our talented design team further demonstrates their inventiveness and originality with design concepts such as vanishing edges, swim-through caves, energizing spas, swim-up bars and elaborate stone and boulder creations. We strive to create something truly unique on every project.
